What is (A.D.P) About?
Akuakrom is a project to demonstrate that villages throughout the region can become economically viable through self-reliance by tapping into opportunities that exist in the global marketplace. The concept is for the establishment of a series of sub-projects with total linkages to all sectors of the social and economic life of the village and its people. These projects are inextricably linked and require parallel implementation in some cases.
Our Objectives
To make Akuakrom self-sufficient in crucial economic and social development with an emphasis on water, food and energy security as well as health, education and research, housing and telecommunication applications within a period of five (5) years
To assist in the development of the economic and social infrastructure of Akuakrom for the empowerment of the people of the village and surrounding communities.
To establish a successful Pilot project to serve as a prototype that can be replicated throughout Africa.
To provide the opportunities/avenues for the integration of Akuakrom and other villages into the global network.
